201 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 201 new cases of coronavirus with 7 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, October 6, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  81,087

New Cases: 201

Deaths: 833

Daily Case Average: 199

Current Hospitalizations: 143

Positivity Rate: 3%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 3544

 

The DOH reports 39 new cases of coronavirus with 2 new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 10,391

New Cases: 39

Deaths: 101

Daily Case Average: 39

Current Hospitalizations: 13

Positivity Rate: 4.8%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 643

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 7

Total COVID Case Count: 2380

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 20

Total COVID Case Count: 9613

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 126

Total COVID Case Count: 56,213
