Police Seek Information Regarding Theft of Bee Hives

Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public for information regarding the theft of several bee hives from a farm on Opukahaia in Kea‘au that occurred between Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, and Tuesday, November 2.

The stolen hives are valued at $22,000.

Police ask anyone with any information about this case to call Officer Jason Lin at (808) 965-2716.

Agricultural theft is a serious crime and the Hawai‘i County Police Department is committed to pursuing those who commit these crimes.
