The Hawaiʻi County Department of Environmental Management (DEM) announced an alternating single lane closure on the Kapu‘e Stream Bridge, located on Hawai‘i Belt Road, Route 19, milepost 6.29, for repairs to an existing sewer main taking place from 8:30am-3pm, Monday, November 29 to Friday, December 3.

During repair hours, traffic in both directions will be maintained. Flaggers will be on-site to provide alternating traffic control. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow for extra travel time to get to their destinations.
