840 New Statewide COVID-19 Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 840 new cases of coronavirus.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Saturday, December 18, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  93,586

New Cases: 840

Deaths: 1,072

Daily Case Average: 569

Current Hospitalizations: 49

Positivity Rate: 6.6%

Fatality Rate: 1.1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 4986

 

The DOH reports 26 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related death on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 12,058

New Cases: 26

Deaths: 147

Daily Case Average: 21

Current Hospitalizations: 6

Positivity Rate: 3.3%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 239

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 21

Total COVID Case Count: 3376

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 46

Total COVID Case Count: 10,786

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 742

Total COVID Case Count: 64,290
