DOH Reports 3290 New Statewide COVID Cases

The State Department of Health reports 3290 new cases of coronavirus with 5 new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, December 29, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  112,932

New Cases: 3290

Deaths: 1,090

Daily Case Average: 1954

Current Hospitalizations: 141

Positivity Rate: 15.1%

Fatality Rate: 1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 21,128

 

The DOH reports 256 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 13,117

New Cases: 256

Deaths: 152

Daily Case Average: 121

Current Hospitalizations: 9

Positivity Rate: 11.8%

Fatality Rate: 1.2%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1110

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 127

Total COVID Case Count: 3969

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 329

Total COVID Case Count: 12,406

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 2514

Total COVID Case Count: 80,084
