3,044 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 3,044 new cases of coronavirus.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Saturday, January 1, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  121,864

New Cases: 3044

Deaths: 1,094

Daily Case Average: 2488

Current Hospitalizations: 141

Positivity Rate: 16.7%

Fatality Rate: .9%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 27,314

 

The DOH reports 359 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 13,909

New Cases: 359

Deaths: 153

Daily Case Average: 194

Current Hospitalizations: 9

Positivity Rate: 14.6%

Fatality Rate: 1.1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1824

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 124

Total COVID Case Count: 4299

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 281

Total COVID Case Count: 13,292

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 2166

Total COVID Case Count: 86.830
