2611 New Statewide COVID Cases Reported

The State Department of Health reports 2611 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Monday, January 3, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  126,067

New Cases: 2611

Deaths: 1,094

Daily Case Average: 2669

Current Hospitalizations: 215

Positivity Rate: 17.8%

Fatality Rate: .9%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 29,607

 

The DOH reports 156 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 14,185

New Cases: 156

Deaths: 153

Daily Case Average: 215

Current Hospitalizations: 19

Positivity Rate: 15.4%

Fatality Rate: 1.1%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 2053

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 111

Total COVID Case Count: 4452

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 354

Total COVID Case Count: 13,753

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 1934

Total COVID Case Count: 89,995
