Hawaiʻi Island police are asking the public to help them identify an individual responsible for using a counterfeit bill to complete a transaction at a store in Kea‘au, on Tuesday, January 25.

The suspect is described as a Polynesian female about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds.

Police ask anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to call Officer Calvin Furtado at (808) 965-2716 or the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
