Police Renew Request for Information Regarding Missing Kohala Man

Hawaiʻi Island police are renewing their request for information regarding the disappearance of a Kohala man who was reported missing in 2014.

Jonathan Riveira, who is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair, was last seen at a Hāwī home on January 12, 2014. He was 38 years old at the time of his disappearance.

Police ask anyone with information on Riveira’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Detective Carrie Akina at (808) 326-4646, extension 277, or email at carrie.akina@hawaiicounty.gov.
