Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park Digital Site Pass Now Available

Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park is now offering a digital site pass to park visitors who plan their visits in advance.

The pass can be purchased and downloaded on guest’s mobile devices, and printed out prior to their arrival at the park.  Passes can be purchased up to six months ahead of arrival.

The following passes are now available for Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park on Recreation.gov:

• Private vehicle ($30, valid for seven days)
• Motorcycle ($25, valid for seven days)
• Individual pedestrian/bicycle ($15, valid for seven days)

The Tri-Park pass, which is an annual pass ($55) for Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, and Haleakalā National Park, must be purchased at the park entrance stations. All other National Park Service passes are available at the entrance station or online at: https://store.usgs.gov/pass/index.html.

The new digital site pass is not available for commercial tours.

Visitors will continue to have the option to pay entrance fees with a credit card or cash at the entrance to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park.
