Hawai‘i Island police have identified the body found in the water at Rainbow Falls on Saturday, March 26 as 37-year-old Adam David Broom, of Hilo.

This morning during an autopsy performed on Broom, the pathologist ruled out foul play; however, final autopsy results are pending toxicology testing.

Detectives with the Area I Criminal Investigation Section are continuing this investigation, which is currently classified as a coroner’s inquest.
