In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 7,149 new cases of coronavirus with 12 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 7149

Total Cases 265,571

New Fatalities: 12

Total Fatalities: 1,446

Daily Case Average: 925

Positivity Rate: 16.9%

Vaccination Rate: 77.5%

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 850 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 850

Total Cases: 29,275

Daily Case Average: 107

Positivity Rate: 13.9%

Vaccination Rate: 68%

 

Maui County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 746

Total COVID Cases: 31,024

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 460

Total COVID Cases: 13,324

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New COVID Cases: 4922

Total COVID Cases: 183,391
