Nine wanted individuals were arrested for a total of 10 outstanding warrants and other crimes during an interagency warrant sweep in Puna on Wednesday, May 25. The sweep was officiated by of officers from the Hawai‘i Police Department, Hawaiʻi State Sheriff’s Department, and the Department of Land and Natural Resources. The warrants were for contempt of court and violating conditions of bail.
The four men and five women arrested include:
- Gary Horvath, age 34
- Joshua Stubbert, age 35
- Guy Nobriga, age 28
- Leihulu Watson, age 49 (not pictured)
- Shivonne Kahee, age 24
- Nohealani Balai, age 31
- Momilani Florendo, age 36
- Jessica Nasario, age 39
During the sweep, officers also recovered a motor vehicle with drug paraphernalia and arrested the lone occupant, Christopher Asagra, 51, for third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.
