HPD Investigating Kona Burglary

Hawai‘i Island police are investigating a burglary that occurred on the 75-200 block of Kalani Street in Kailua-Kona.  The facility is home to a worldwide organization that assists the community through donations.
 
The burglary, which was reported between Tuesday, July 26, and Friday, July 29, 2022, involved unknown person(s) who forcibly entered the establishment and stole numerous undisclosed items. HPD does not currently have an estimated value of the items that were stolen.
 
Police ask that anyone with information regarding the incident to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or email Officer D. Manuel at Devon.Manuel@hawaiicounty.gov.
