In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 577 cases of coronavirus with 8 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide. The following data includes confirmed cases up until Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 577

Total Cases: 388,681

New Fatalities: 8

Total Fatalities: 1,904

Daily Case Average: 83

Positivity Rate: 6.3%

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 81 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 81

Total Cases: 43,557

Daily Case Average: 7

Positivity Rate: 4.2%

 

Maui County Counts:

New Cases: 62

Total COVID Cases: 43,939

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 14

Total COVID Cases: 19,607

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New Cases: 411

Total COVID Cases: 270,153
