Hawai‘i Island police located and arrested 27-year-old Andrew Amon of Ocean View, who was wanted for two outstanding warrants for arrest, as well as for questioning in other criminal investigations.

After conferring with the County Prosecutors Office, Detectives charged Amon with the following offenses:

•        Robbery 2
•        Criminal Contempt

His bail was set at $5,500.00.

Amon remained in police custody and made his initial Kona District Court appearance yesterday.
