Three University of Hawai’i at Hilo Women’s Golf team members including Elle Otani, Kailey Oki and Trinity Ledgerwood were named to the 2022-23 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team.

To be considered for the team student athletes needed to have to meet the following criteria:

• Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
• Be an amateur and be on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season.
• Have participated in 50 percent of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team’s conference championship.

A total of 1,473 women’s collegiate golfers from 398 programs were recognized with this prestigious honor.
