Police Renew Request For Endangered Kailua-Kona Woman

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for public assistance in locating 65-year-old Kunzang Yuthok who was last seen in the Old Airport park in Kailua-Kona the morning of Monday, November 20, 2023.

Yuthok is described as Asian with a medium complexion, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black top and shorts, a cap, and light blue running shoes.

Her family is deeply concerned for her well-being and is offering a cash reward for information that may lead to her whereabouts.

Police are requesting that anyone who may have been fishing, surfing, or who may have dash-cam footage from the vicinity of Old Airport Park between the hours of 8:30am-11am on the date mentioned above to contact Detective Corrie Akina of the Area II Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 326-4646, ext. 277 or via email Carrie.Akina@hawaiicounty.gov.

Anyone containing pertinent information on Yuthok’s whereabouts is also urged to call the police.
