Second Annual HI-PAL T-Ball Tournament Held in Hilo

Over 250 six to eight year-old keiki competed in the second annual Hawai‘i Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL) coach-pitch/T-ball baseball tournament.

Hosted by the Hawai‘i County Police Department (HPD) at the Kawananakoa Gym, the two-day tournament which was held on Saturday, January 27, and Sunday, January 28.
 
A total of 19 teams participated in the tournament with the Lincoln Wreckers Gold clinching the first place title and the West Side Hammers in second place.
 
HI-PAL is a Hawaiʻi County Police Department program where police officers mentor youth in various activities.

To participate in an event, contact the Hawai‘i County Police Department’s Hilo Community Policing Officers at (808) 961-8849.
