County Announces Integrated Wastewater Management Plan

The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Environmental Management announced the development of an Integrated Wastewater Management Plan (Plan) aimed at providing a comprehensive strategy for cesspool conversions and sewer infrastructure projects across the region.

As part of this plan, the County will be conducting two rounds of public engagement workshops to share information and gather valuable input from the community. The first round of workshops will focus on cesspool conversions.

Date: 2/28/2024

Location: Kohala Intergenerational Center, Kamehameha Park Rd, Kapaau

Time: 5:00 – 6:30 PM
