Beginning tomorrow, February 20, through Friday March 1, Hawaiian Electric crews will replace two utility poles on Ali‘i Drive in Kailua-Kona.

During the work, one lane on Ali‘i Drive between Hualalai Road and Walua Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m on weekdays.

The work will not require a power outage.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and plan for delays. In addition, traffic control personnel will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians passing near the work area.
