Police Seek Missing Puna Woman

Hawai‘i Island Police are asking for public assistance in locating 33-year-old Kuuipo Thomas of Pāhoa, who last seen walking near Pāhoa town in February 2024.

Thomas, who wasn’t reported missing until recently, is described as Caucasian, 5-feet 8-inches tall, 120 pounds with short blonde hair and hazel eyes. She has a “hatchet man” tattoo on her right shoulder and the words “Hakuna Matata” tattooed on her left wrist.

Police ask anyone who may have  information on Thomas’ whereabouts to contact the Hawai‘i County Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
