Several military vehicle convoys from Kawaihae to Pohakuloa Training Area are scheduled to take place this week.  This training is critical to ensure military units and service members are ready to accomplish their mission and return home safely.

Below is detailed information regarding this week’s convoys:

Monday, May 6  – 3 p.m. Kawaihae to Pohakuloa Training Area (4 separate convoys)

Tuesday, May 7 –  8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Kawaihae to Pohakuloa Training Area (4 separate convoys)

Convoy leaders will continually assess conditions and conduct pull-over procedures on permissible straight-aways sections of the roadway to allow local residents the ability to bypass the convoy safely and reduce backed-up traffic.

To report concerns related to noise or training contact the NEW U.S. Army Hawaiʻi’s Community Concern Line at (808) 787-1528 or usag.hawaii.comrel@army.mil.
