Hawaiʻi County transfer stations will be open for during normal operating hours on Thursday, July 4, except for scrap metal collection.

The following transfer stations will not be accepting scrap metal on July 4th.

• Hilo
• Honoka’a
• Kealakehe
• Kea’au
• Pāhoa
• Volcano
• Waimea
• Wai’ōhinu
