Kauaʻi Police Identify Unresponsive Man Found at Kalihiwai Beach

The Kaua‘i Police Department has identified the unresponsive man recently found at Kalihiwai Beach as 43 year-old Jesse W. Eidson of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

After medics responded to the beach, Mr. Eidson was transported to the Wilcox Medical Center and later med-evacked to Queen’s Medical Center on O‘ahu, where he passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22.

Based on the preliminary findings from an autopsy and witness statements, foul play is not suspected.
