To start off the 2024-25 basketball season, UH Hilo Men’s Basketball will host its inaugural Men’s Basketball Tip Off Banquet presented by Bank of Hawai’i on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center Moanahoku Hall.

During the event, attendees meet the coaches and student-athletes and get a preview of what’s to come for 2024-25.

In a press release fifth-year head coach Kaniela Aiona said, “We are really looking forward to spending a great evening with some of our most faithful Vulcan ‘Ohana. It is our goal to make this a tradition for our program as we celebrate the beginning of each new basketball season. Most importantly, we aim to create a special night for our student-athletes and community supporters to continue building lasting connections as we embark on the journey ahead. Go Vulcans!”

Tickets can be purchased at HiloAthletics.com/TipOff. Prices are $150 for a single seat or $1,200 for a table of seven with a Vulcans player. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and program at 7 p.m.
