Utility Work to Close One Lane of Hawai‘i Belt Road in Kona Next Week

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a utility pole on Hawai‘i Belt Road in Kona on Monday, Dec. 9, and Wednesday, Dec. 11.

On Dec. 9, one lane near the intersection of Ha‘awina Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. On Dec. 11, the lane will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Flagmen will provide onsite traffic control.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution when approaching and passing the work zone as well as plan for traffic delays in the area.
