Hawaiʻi County Police detectives located and arrested 40-year-old Robert “Tamatoa” Teinauri-Carman in Pāhala yesterday morning.

The Ocean View resident was arrested in relation two outstanding warrants, one regarding an indictment and one regarding revocation of release of bail. He was also wanted for questioning in a 2022 burglary in the Hawai‘i Ocean View Estates subdivision in the Ka‘ū district.

Late yesterday afternoon police issued a media release that Teinauri-Carman was wanted on the two warrants and considered armed and dangerous.
