Hawai’i County is asking residents to complete an online survey to help analyze the impacts of short-term rentals (STRs).

The survey results will support an economic impact study the Department of Research and Development is conducting on STRs as required by County Council Resolution 556-24. In developing this analysis, the County has hired Hunden Partners to complete the study, which includes resident input through this survey.

“Gathering input is essential as we look at the economic and community impacts of short-term rentals,” said Mayor Kimo Alameda in a press release.

Survey responses are anonymous; contact information will not be used for any other purpose.
