Police Renew Request For Assistance Locating Missing Person

Hawai’i Island police are requesting public assistance in locating 77-year-old Charles Poole who was last seen on Pāhoa Village Road on April 9, 2024.

Poole, who is described as having a fair complexion, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 185 pounds, with long, gray hair and blue eyes, was known to frequent various locations around Hawai‘i Island, as well as the island of Oʻahu.

Anyone with information on Poole’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective Amy Omaya of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2381, or via email at amy.omaya@hawaiicounty.gov.
