August “Coffee With a Cop” Dates Announced

Big Island residents are invited to attend Coffee With a Cop events this August. These monthly meet ups are designed to give the public an opportunity to get to know their law enforcement officers in a casual environment while enjoying refreshments.  Conversation topics can range from community issues to personal anecdotes.

Detailed information regarding this month’s events are as follows:

  • August 13 –  8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – Pomaika‘i Café, Kapaʻau.
  • August 13 – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Kona Heaven Coffee, Kailua-Kona.
  • August 14 – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Kona Mountain Coffee Co., Kailua-Kona.
  • August 20 – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Uncle Kimo’s Coffee Shop, next to the Hōlualoa Garden & Kitchen Restaurant, Hōlualoa.
  • August 22 – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Kona Coffee & Tea – Kailua-Kona.
