This week, over 20 sheep were found dead on a Pāhoa ranch where hunting and trespassing are prohibited.
Due to bite marks found on the sheep, police suspect dog attacks.
The sheep were valued at $2,500, a significant loss to the rancher and his business.
Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Puna Patrol Officer Cody Hirata at (808)961-2716, or via email at cody.hirata@hawaiipolice.gov.
