Hawai‘i Island Community Health Center (HICHC), along with AlohaCare, HMSA, and the Queen’s Health Systems will host the 2nd annual Hilo Healthcare Career Expo at Sangha Hall on Tuesday, November 18, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The event, which is open to everyone including students, career changers, and current healthcare workers. is designed to address healthcare staffing shortages by connecting job seekers with over 40 local healthcare employers.

Employers will be actively recruiting for positions at all levels with roles that include on-the-job training, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits.

Available opportunities include:

• Entry-Level Roles: Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants, Patient Navigation, Case Management.
• Support Services: Admin Support, Finance, Billing, IT, Outreach, Marketing, and more.
• Licensed Positions: Nurses, Social Workers, Lab Techs, Radiology, Medical Providers. Many roles offer on-the-job training, competitive pay, benefits, and career growth.

Last year’s events in Hilo and Kona drew over 1,000 attendees combined.
