Hawai‘i Island police are investigating a robbery that occurred near Prince Kuhio Boulevard and Highway 11 in Ocean View on Halloween night.

According to police, a 39-year-old man was assaulted by several male suspects after getting off a bus. His personal belongings were stolen.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released from Kona Community Hospital.

The suspects were  described as darker-skinned young adult males, who fled in an unknown direction.
