Hawai‘i Island police are hosting a free Keiki ID event tomorrow from noon to 2 p.m. at the Hilo Public Library on 300 Waiānuenue Ave.

Hosted by HPD’s Hilo Community Policing Section, the event provides parents and guardians with the opportunity to obtain identification cards for their children.

The Keiki ID card includes the child’s photograph, fingerprint, and other vital information that may assist police in the event of an emergency.
