The Hawai‘i County Police Department’s Kona Community Policing Section, in partnership with HI-PAL, PATH, and Bike Works Kona, will host a free Kona Bicycle Day on Saturday, January 24 from 8 a.m. to noon on Aliʻi Drive (between Likana Lane and Hualālai Road).

The event, which is open to all ages, promotes bicycle safety and includes an obstacle course for safe riding skills.  Participants should bring their own bikes, but loaner bikes will be available.

Helmets are required.

For waiver forms, contact Officer Leonard Warren at leonard.warren@hawaiipolice.gov.
