Hele-On will not operate any bus and paratransit services on Sunday, Feb. 1 in order to provide Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) training for all County of Hawai’i Mass Transit Agency employees and its contractors.

Regular bus service will resume at 3:15 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 2.

During this time, passengers are urged to find alternative transportation options including taxis, Lyft or Uber.

The scheduled annual training will ensure compliance with the ADA as well as the requirements set forth by the Federal Transit Administration Section 37.173.
