Las Vegas Raiders defense end Maxx Crosby #98 celebrates after an interception against the Los Angeles Rams in an NFL football game at SoFi Stadium^ Oct. 20^ 2024^ in Inglewood^ Calif.

The Baltimore Ravens have quickly found a new answer to their pass-rush needs after the deal for the Raiders’ Maxx Crosby collapsed, and have signed Trey Henrickson to a 4-year, $112M contract.

Late Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders revealed that Baltimore had pulled out of a proposed trade for Crosby, stating the Ravens had “backed out of” the agreement. The original deal would have sent two first-round picks in the 2026 and 2027 drafts to Las Vegas for the five-time Pro Bowler, but the move reportedly fell apart after concerns emerged during Crosby’s in-person physical. The veteran had undergone meniscus surgery in January.

Less than a day later, Baltimore turned to another proven pass rusher, reaching an agreement with former Cincinnati Bengals star Hendrickson. Hendrickson became available after Cincinnati chose not to use the franchise tag on the four-time Pro Bowler. Although a core muscle injury limited him to seven games in 2025 and required surgery, he had been one of the league’s most productive pass rushers in recent years. He posted 17.5 sacks in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons, leading the NFL in sacks and earning First-Team All-Pro honors in 2024.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 31-year-old edge rusher is signing a four-year contract worth $112 million, with the potential to reach $120 million. The deal reportedly includes $60 million fully guaranteed, a $20 million signing bonus, and performance incentives that reward sack totals.

The veteran began his career with the New Orleans Saints before signing with Cincinnati in 2021. Over the past six seasons, his 74.5 sacks rank among the league’s best, including three campaigns with at least 14 sacks while with the Bengals. He now joins a Ravens defensive front that includes Nnamdi Madubuike and Mike Green. The move comes as the franchise looks to rebound after an 8–9 season that ended a streak of playoff appearances dating back to 2021. Baltimore also enters a new era with defensive-minded head coach Jesse Minter taking over for the 2026 season.
