COVID-19 cases at nearly 500K worldwide–US 70K

The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 scoreboard on Thursday morning, Mar. 26, 2020 at 7 a.m. HST shows that worldwide, COVID-19 cases have grown to 495,086.  The United States is third, following China and Italy, at 69,684.

Worldwide, deaths stand at 22,295.   The United States now has 1,049 deaths.   Several states have recorded deaths, with New York City the most at 280.

The total number of people counted as recovered from COVID-19 worldwide is 119,978.

The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 scoreboard is an interactive scoreboard, updated frequently, which gathers data from around the world.
