Saturday, 683 people arrived in Hawai‘i from out of state,  up by 55 from Friday arrivals. This includes 106 visitors and 220 residents.   Two flights arrived in Kona, with 10 residents, 4 intended residents, and 4 visitors.

Mandatory 14-day, self-quarantine is required for all passengers arriving from out of state.   Interisland travelers are also under self-quarantine orders, to stay inside for 14 days.

Hawaii National Guard soldiers and airmen are supporting the Hawaii Department of Transportation and Hawaii Tourism Authority in being on-site at airports to help greet and handle medical screening for all passengers, incoming and outgoing.  Arriving domestic and international passengers and departing interisland passengers will have their temperatures taken to determine if an additional medical screening is necessary.   On Saturday, Kona and Hilo Airports Manager Chauncey Wong Yuen said the Guard team was already at the Big Island airports.

Hawaii Tourism Authority provided the following update.  This table shows the number of people who arrived by air from out of state yesterday and does not include interisland travel.
