Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow left Sunday’s game against Washington after suffering a knee injury. The injury occurred after Burrow appeared to hyperextend his left knee and immediately prompted concerns about a season-ending injury. The Cincinnati Bengals wasted no time and immediately ruled Burrow out for the remainder of the game, with Ryan Finley replacing him. Burrow’s season seems to be over, after he tweeted: “Thanks for all the love. Can’t get rid of me that easy. See ya next year.”

Washington rallied past the Bengals 20-9 Sunday to keep his team in the NFC East race. Washington (3-7) moved a half-game back of Philadelphia for first place in the division. Washington rookie running back Antonio Gibson ran for 94 yards and a TD.
