The State Department of Health Joint Information Center Daily Digest for Tuesday, March 2, 2021 reports 35 new cases of coronavirus . This report includes cases up until Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website daily: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts 

Total Cases  27,623

Deaths 439

New Cases: 35

Average Daily Cases: 43

Fatality Rate: 1.1%

Reported Cases in the Last Two Weeks: 647

The Hawaii Department of Health reports 3 new case of Coronavirus with 1 person hospitalized on Hawaii Island.  There have been no deaths reported in the last nine weeks.

 

Hawaiʻi Island Counts:

Total Cases: 2,248

Deaths: 53

New Cases: 3

Average Daily Cases: 2

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 33

Fatality Rate: 2.4%
