DOH Reports 166 New COVID Cases Across the State

The State Department of Health reports 166 new cases of coronavirus with 7 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Monday, February 28, 2022.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  236,435

New Cases: 166

Deaths: 1,341

Daily Case Average: 199

Current Hospitalizations: 81

Fatality Rate: .6%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 3544

 

The DOH reports 24 new cases of coronavirus with no new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 25,861

New Cases: 24

Deaths: 181

Daily Case Average: 28

Current Hospitalizations: 9

Fatality Rate: .7%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 586

 

Maui

New COVID Cases: 21

Total COVID Case Count: 29,515

 

Kauaʻi

New COVID Cases: 11

Total COVID Case Count: 11,448

 

Oʻahu

New COVID Cases: 83

Total COVID Case Count: 163,890
