The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) is set to begin its Traveling Beneficiary Services initiative on Hawaiʻi Island.

Today, OHA Beneficiary Services staff will provide direct, in-person support, including kōkua with Hawaiian Registry and other OHA-related services at the Nāʻālehu Community Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The new OHA initiative is designed to meet Native Hawaiian beneficiaries where they live, work, and raise their families. Instead of requiring beneficiaries to travel long distances to access support, OHA will bring its services directly into high-concentration Native Hawaiian communities across Hawaiʻi Island.

OHA is finalizing plans to bring beneficiary services to locations in Kona and Waimea and will announce those dates and locations in the coming days.
