Beginning today, the playground at Spencer Kalani Schutte District Park in Waimea will be temporarily closed for maintenance.

Visitors are asked to avoid entering the playground as the area will be fenced off for safety.

Repairs are expected to be completed by November 8, depending on weather and other factors.

Other park facilities will remain open during the maintenance period
