Where does Hawaii stand relative to testing for COVID-19?

Nationwide, the Centers for Disease Control says as of June 29, there have been 33,601,847 tests in the country.  There have been 3,194,381 positive tests, or around 10% of those tested.

In Hawaii, the State Department of Health reports that a total of 90,577 tests have been run on 77,743 individuals.   Within the last week the percentage of those testing positive is .8%.  It’s normal to have individuals tested multiple times, especially those who are suspected or confirmed as positive COVID-19 cases.  Statewide, there have been a total of 900 cases, with 722 people now released from isolation and no longer being monitored.

On the Big Island, a total of 13,375 COVID-19 tests have been run, with around 1% positive in the last week.  Hawaii County has had 87 cumulative cases, with 3 active at this time.
